DON'S CHOICE: 一仕事終わり……。

　ようやくアルバム制作にケリがついた。（音楽面は。まだまだデザイン等、仕事はあるが）さて、これからリセットして次に向かわなければ！、と取りあえずバッグの中身の整理をしようとしてみると……なんともひどい有り様になってしまっていた。確かレコーディング前から手をつけてなかったのだな、コレは。ちょっとリストアップしてみよう。

・DON's creative note book‥‥‥今回のレコーディングに際して思いついた事、歌詞の覚え書き、ジャケのデザインetc.を書き込むノート。いつの間にか大量の書類がはさみこまれている。とてもブ厚くなってしまった。

・小さく畳まれたボロボロのウインドブレーカー……ボクはクーラーが嫌いなので、というより、寒いのが苦手なので、いつも持ち歩いている。かなり小さい。そして……クシャクシャだ。

・AKAIのMDレコーダー……長年愛用の黒。レコーディング中は何といってもMDが一番便利。曲の編集もできるし、曲順だって思いのままである。場合によってはレコーディングだってやっちゃう。

・MDの数々……おそらくリハーサルの音源だと思われる。今聴くとため息しかでないことだろう。なにしろ膨大な時間をリハーサルに費やしたからなー。

・i-pod……これが今回のレコーディング時からの新兵器。これにアルバムを何枚も詰め込んで、聴いた。とても便利だ、と思った。音は良くないけどね。中に入っているのは：The Rolling Stones"Emotional Rescue",Sly & The Family Stone"there's A riot....",Eddie Palmieri,The Roots,The Beatles,The Neptunes,Jay-Z,Kanye West,Konono No.1,Parliament,Pink Floyd,Sufian Stevens,Tom Petty,The Who 等々。

・無印で買った筆箱……消しゴムが１個だけ入ってる。意味ないのかも。

・ピック数枚……ありです。

・色々なトコでもらうサンプルCD-Rが数枚……様々な場所で渡される。ライブ会場や、電車のホームやなんかで。ケースに入ってないものはひどい状態になっている。いかんせんもらった時期が悪かった。スマン。

・サリンジャー「ナイン・ストーリーズ」……「小舟のほとりで」がとても好きで、何度も読む。

・カフカ「変身」……なんでこんなものが……？？

・ビール券の束………？？？？あ、これ前に実家に帰った時にもらったんだっけ？

・クシャクシャになったフライヤーの数々……読み返した記憶なし。

・同様に壊滅状態の書類、封筒、メモ………何の為に取っておいたのでしょうか？？

・コンビニのビニール袋……同上。

・ガムやチョコレートの包み紙………ゴミ箱に捨てましょう。

………という訳で、すっかりバッグも重くなってしまった。捨ててしまえばスッキリするのではあるが、何とも言えず捨て難い気分でも、ある。それは夏の思い出でもある。ボクにとってこの夏はとても記憶に残るものだった。いつ夏は終わったのだろう？

　そんなこんなで必要以上に重いバッグを抱えながら明日は打ち合わせに行く事になるでしょうね。

ipodの中身を見てニヤリ。どのアーティストもいろんなジャンルの音を吸収し、その成果をポップに表現してしまう偉人達ですな。もちろんズボンズもね！余談ですがレディオヘッドが次のアルバムで狙ってる「ファンク」と凄く近いと思いますよ。ぼくはズボンズとレディオヘッドって音楽の難しいところを、とてもカジュアルに表現していて、すごいなーと思っております。
